Barn Love

Meet the Family

We're the Kammanns, Tabatha and Jeff, and this is our family farm. Our son's name is Kooper. We also have two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers named Abby and Asher. We live on Jeff's family's waterfront property where we raise bees and chickens.

About Tabatha
I love living a simple life! I'm a wife and a stay at home mom. In my pre-farm life I was a paralegal. Now in my spare time I love to bake and cook. I'm learning how to crochet, and would love to learn how to sew. The more we can do/make ourselves, the better!

About Jeff
By day I am a longshoreman. I load cargo on ships in Baltimore's harbor. During my time with the family I am a farmer at heart. We live on land that has been in my family for generations. We raise chickens and bees and I am looking into raising meat birds this year: chickens and turkeys. Thanks for following along with us!

About Kooper
My name is Kooper. I'm three. I like tractors and dirt.  I am the sixth generation on our farm!

About the Farm

Our Maryland waterfront farm was originally used for growing and harvesting green beans. Unfortunately before Jeff was old enough to learn how to properly farm the land, his grandfather and uncle weren't around to teach him.  What they were able to teach him remains with him and inspires him to continue using the farm on a much smaller scale.

Our farm was used as a backdrop to film a commercial for a local brewing company. You can see the commercial here:
